How it works

From setup to payout — saving together has never been this simple.

01
Join a circle

Create or Join a Circle

Start a new savings group or join one with friends. Set the rules — number of members, contribution amount, payout order, and frequency.

02
USDC

Contribute in USDC

Each member contributes their agreed amount in USDC to the group smart contract on every cycle (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).

03
Payouts

Automated Payouts

At each payout round, the smart contract automatically sends the pooled funds to the scheduled member. No delays. No bias.

04
Track and Earn

Track & Earn

Use your dashboard to monitor group progress, payment history, and next payout. Optional: Let idle funds earn yield in trusted DeFi pools.

KooPaa is a decentralized savings platform inspired by the traditional ajo (rotating savings) system. It brings the familiar concept of group-based savings into Web3 by leveraging blockchain technology for transparency, automation, and trust.

To create a new savings group, navigate to the "Groups" section in the app and tap "Create New Group." Follow the prompts to set up your group parameters including contribution amount, frequency, and member limits.
To join an existing group, you'll need an invitation link or code from the group admin. Enter this in the "Join Group" section of the app.

Yes, your funds on KooPaa are secured through blockchain technology. All transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain, making them transparent and immutable. We use USDC, a regulated stablecoin backed 1:1 by US dollars. Our smart contracts will be audited by leading security firms, and we implement industry-standard security practices to protect your assets.

If a group member misses a payment, the system automatically sends reminders to that member. Group admins are also notified. After a grace period (customizable by the group), late fees may apply based on the group's rules. For persistent non-payment, the group can vote to remove the member, with their previous contributions handled according to the group's predetermined rules.
